The ‘Manufacturing the Future’ event will be held at the Telford Innovation Campus on Thursday 19 June 2014.

Alongside Mike, Paul Sefton the Director of IngPro Ltd who will be examining the changes within 21st century manufacturing and how these can create future templates for manufacturing strategies.

Professor Andrew Pollard, Director of the IPSS Project and the Caparo Innovation Centre, said
“This event provides an excellent opportunity for manufacturers in the West Midlands.

“They have the opportunity to hear from one of the senior decision makers at BAE Systems about the future of aerospace and the opportunities for regional businesses.

“Manufacturing within the West Midlands region is on the increase and this event will provide a platform for discussions about what the future of manufacturing looks like, how those involved in the supply chain can benefit and importantly, how they can take advantage of the changes ahead"

The event will offer a range of presentations from cloud computing and big data solutions for manufacturers to the principles of manufacturing by additive processes.

Delegates will also be offered the chance to tour the impressive Advanced Engineering facilities within the Department of Engineering at the campus.
